"Do you know what conference they're in, what their mascot is, where their school is located, that kind of stuff," a reporter asked.
As the Cody Zeller and Jordan Hulls whispered, "CAA" to ensure a correct answer, Oladip took the mic.
"They're in the CAA. I think they're the Dukes," Oladipo said. "James Madison Dukes. They're from Virginia, the DMV (DC/Maryland/Virginia as I learned today). Yeah, i'm from there, so i know a little somethin'-somethin' about James Madison."
Another reporter earlier in the media session inquired about what was the best Victor story.
"He's always singing," Jordan Hulls said. "No matter where we're at. Good thing I went first (at answering the question). Always singing. At our Hoosier Hysteria, he performed a little Usher for everybody at the arena. THat was pretty cool. A little different, but that was a lot of fun."
Too much sidetracking, back to class Victor. Who is James Madison, the figurehead?
"He signed the Declaration or something like that," Oladipo said."You mean the person, right? James Madison, he signed something big, like the Declaration of Independence. I'm right, right?
Good try Victor, but a little off. James Madison, the fourth President of the United States did not sign the Declaration of Independence. He in fact was the 'Father of the Constitution' and one of the primary author's of Federalist Papers.
"Emancipation Proclamation, something like that," Oladipo added questionably. "One of those big names. i know he's a big historic figure in U.S. history. I think I'm 4-0. I think I won that little trivia challenge right there."
Zeller fired a question back at the reporter.
"Do you know what a Hoosier is?"
This is the homework for next class, research what a Hoosier is. Class is dismissed.
