Monday night, it seemed almost a lock that JMU would enter the tournament as a 16 seed. It got iffy when with the Dukes though when you asked the question, field of 64 or play-in?
Tuesday, ESPN wizard Joe Lunardi had the Dukes in a play-in game against Norfolk State with the winner getting the oh so great pleasure of meeting the Duke Blue Devils in the city of brotherly love. Now, since Wednesday Lunardi has had JMU as a straight 16 seed avoiding the play-in game facing Duke.
CBSsports.com's Jerry Palm updated his bracket today. Palm has JMU in a play-in game against Morgan State.
Bracketology is a very strange subject. Me personally, well I would've loved to take this course in high school in place of chemistry. I'm not interested in making a sequel to Breaking Bad if you know what I mean, but I would like to understand this madness.
Patrick Stevens, who projects the NCAA field for USA Today has JMU in a play-in game vs Liberty. The Flames won the Big South tournament and are an interesting 15-20 this year. The winner of this game would travel to Lexington to take on Louisville.
While time creeps until Sunday, this gives us all something to follow
