Mo Cassara's words on many of the fouls called on his team Saturday evening.
In the second game of today's CAA tournament action, Delaware eliminated Hofstra with a 62-57 over the Pride. In a game that I thought would not contain much competition, Hofstra showed up and put up a respectable fight.
Hofstra kept it close for much of the game, but in the end could not make big shots when needed. Hometown Blue Hen, Jarvis Threatt (Highland Springs) almost cost the team a win when he was rejected by the rim on a fast break dunk. Hofstra then, in transition connected on a three pointer that made it 58-55. As of now #4 George Mson and #2 Delaware have advanced to semi-final Sunday.
#3 JMU vs #6 William & Mary up next. Coach Brady is 1-2 vs the Tribe in the CAA tournament.
