Minutes ago, the Daily News Record's Mark Selig broke that redshirt senior forward Rayshawn Goins was recently taken to Rockingham County Jail.
The arrest was made by the Harrisonburg Police Department and he is charged with "obstruction of justice" and "disorderly conduct," both misdemeanors.
Sheriff told Selig that Goins had been "cooperative at this point" and he would most likely not spend the night in jai.
----UPDATE----
Goins has since been released on $2,500 unsecure bond.
The arrest was surrounding a party that the team held in the 865 apartments atop Port Republic.
Don Egle, Director of Public Affairs and University Spokesman told me Sunday night:
"The athletic administration is aware of the situation. We will not be providing any additional comments until we review this matter in the morning."
